This list prioritizes quest additions and expansions that are (predominantly) lore- and tone friendly in regards to the original game. Its additional preferences are as follows: Aesthetics: Inspired by central Norway, specifically Norefjell & Gudbrandsdalen. Mainly done through JPSteel's Berserkyr & Skóglendi with Happy Little Trees. On a RTX 3080 I achieve 60-100 fps with an occasional dip to 40 in the heaviest areas. No parallax. Gameplay: Improvements to the strengths of the original game. I've never understood the need to make the game "Dark Souls, but worse" or something to that effect, and would rather focus on 1st person gameplay with heft and challenge. This is achieved through mutually beneficial Enai- and SimonMagus mods, as well as a scattering of supplmentary additions/magic mods. See the top 4 gameplay sections. Adult: Yes, but with but with no supplementary systems that demand constant attention. Rather it enhances the available romances as well as gives NPCs a private life that can add some spice to late night Thieves Guild activities. NPC overhauls: Mainly I've avoided overhauls that turn NPCs into off-brand s*x dolls. The most visible are Nordic Faces, Simple Children, Tragedian's Followers and Modpocalypse for mod expansions.
